Vernon RecSkate
This recreational skating program is based on a system of learning through progressive training with an emphasis on fun and participation. The RecSkate program is not a badge incentive program. We emphasize the importance of comprehensive feedback through the use of progress cards. Upon completion of Level 5, skaters will receive a special personalized RecSkate award to recognize their accomplishment in the Vernon RecSkate program. The program is designed for both boys and girls and is an excellent way to learn the fundamentals to start any career in hockey, ringette or figure skating. Please note that helmets, gloves, wind/snow pants are mandatory for all RecSkate programs.
